Delivery and Postage

Deliveries to UK only
We aim to deliver all coffee orders within 5 days of purchases and, ideally, as soon as possible.

VAT on Delivery
Please note that all our tea and coffee products are not VAT rated products.

Delivery Weight
The weight of an order is the combined pack weight of product and the weight of its delivery packaging. Weights displayed on the site are the product pack weights only.

Refund Policy

When you return a Product to us (for instance, because you claim that the Product is defective), we will examine the returned Product and will notify you of your refund via e-mail within a reasonable period of time. We will usually refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase. We will usually process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 days of the day we received your cancellation or the day we confirmed to you via e-mail that you were entitled to a refund for delivery of the defective Product.

Products returned by you because they are not of satisfactory quality will be refunded in full, including a refund of the delivery charges for sending the item to you and the cost incurred by you in returning the item to us.

In accordance with the Consumer Rights Act seven-day ‘cooling off’ period (see http://www.consumerdirect.gov.uk), products returned by you within the first seven-days of receiving the goods will be refunded in full, including the cost of sending the item to You. However, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us and the Product must be unopened and returned to Edinburgh Tea & Coffee Company unused and with the packaging in its original state.

WE MAY NOT ACCEPT YOUR ORDER

We reserve the right not to accept your order if:

  • We have insufficient stock to deliver the products you have ordered. If this is the case, we will contact you to advise of an availability date or to offer you a substitute product.
  • We do not deliver to your area.
  • If we do not accept your order we will notify you by email and will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit card as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days from the date of the order. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.
